A very good chance. 6 minutes into the game, Aaron Somervuori was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bardridlan C.F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Kemi the free kick. After 6 played minutes FC Bardridlan C.F got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Somervuori. Juhana Korkeamäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kaarlo Loikala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turkka Manninen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Kemppainen in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th play minute Juhana Korkeamäki came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kaarlo Loikala. 1-0. Jari Kemppainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turkka Manninen having to interfere. Turkka Manninen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomi Rahikainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juhana Korkeamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomi Rahikainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turkka Manninen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jari Kemppainen in the 35th minute of play forced Real Kemi's goalkeeper Turkka Manninen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaarlo Loikala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uolevi Mansikkamäki's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomi Rahikainen made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Juhana Korkeamäki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaarlo Loikala was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Turkka Manninen was a little too slow when Tomi Rahikainen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 2-1. A collision led to FC Bardridlan C.F getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eerik Blom hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Uolevi Mansikkamäki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Kemi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Turkka Manninen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jari Kemppainen in the 71st minute. The supporters of FC Bardridlan C.F booed when Real Kemi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rainer Loikala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marko Viklund was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Real Kemi's goalkeeper Turkka Manninen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jari Kemppainen. Kaarlo Loikala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juhana Korkeamäki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Jari Kemppainen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Tomi Rahikainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turkka Manninen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juhana Korkeamäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaarlo Loikala having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Kemi had won after a very even match.
