In the 8th minute, FC Bardridlan C.F's Jari Kemppainen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jari Kemppainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lasse Kuivaharju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomi Rahikainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute, Jaakoppi Määttä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sampo Pihkala took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kaarlo Loikala. FC Bardridlan C.F's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 18 played minutes FC Bardridlan C.F got a freekick which was hit by Eerik Blom. If Voitto Markkula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Voitto Markkula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaarlo Loikala having to interfere. Jari Kemppainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Leevi Hernesniemi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaarlo Loikala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Voitto Markkula, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jari Kemppainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Leevi Hernesniemi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Voitto Markkula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaarlo Loikala having to interfere. Kaarlo Loikala made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Leevi Hernesniemi sent off a good shot on target. If Voitto Markkula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, FC Bardridlan C.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Viklund to maneuver through the defense. Lasse Kuivaharju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomi Rahikainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Voitto Markkula managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saramo's supporters rose to their feet, but Voitto Markkula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaarlo Loikala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th match minute, FC Bardridlan C.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Väinö Nikkinen to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Jari Kemppainen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lasse Kuivaharju. Saramo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jari Kemppainen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lasse Kuivaharju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomi Rahikainen in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Saramo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aarno Turunen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomi Rahikainen in the 83rd minute of play forced Saramo's goalkeeper Lasse Kuivaharju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Bardridlan C.F booed when Saramo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taneli Rautee didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Jaakoppi Määttä was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bardridlan C.F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saramo the free kick. Jaakoppi Määttä hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Leevi Hernesniemi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaarlo Loikala was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Saramo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Bardridlan C.F.
