Spectators: 5906 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Verneri Rimpilä took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes FC Minos got a freekick which was hit by Taito Ruutu. Timo Furuholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jalmari Vikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Minos getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ukko Hautamäki hit a great ball. Eelis Laurila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aapeli Lundell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Elmeri Kuusinen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Timo Furuholm. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 20th minute, Elmeri Kuusinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Minos's Aapeli Lundell got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Turun Tanakka defense, Verneri Rimpilä kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eelis Laurila. The Turun Tanakka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eelis Laurila should have stopped the shot. Eelis Laurila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verneri Rimpilä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Turun Tanakka's Jalmari Vikström got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Turun Tanakka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Minos:s goal. Turun Tanakka:s Eelis Laurila showed great skill when he stopped Timo Savijoki:s penalty. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Elmeri Kuusinen made the kick off in the second half. Mikael Lähitie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eelis Laurila having to make a save. Aapeli Lundell came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eelis Laurila could save by the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Turun Tanakka's goalkeeper Eelis Laurila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ukko Hautamäki. In the 57th minute, Elmeri Kuusinen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timo Furuholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Minos's goalkeeper Timo Furuholm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Taito Ruutu's late challenge caught a Turun Tanakka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taito Ruutu helped the player get up and apologised. Taito Ruutu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Jalmari Vikström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jalmari Vikström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Timo Furuholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Turun Tanakka got a freekick which was hit by Jyrki Miinalainen. Timo Furuholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jalmari Vikström in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Minos's Taito Ruutu got a free kick in the 77th minute. Joel Antila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timo Furuholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aarni Salmelainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Timo Savijoki hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jalmari Vikström struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Timo Furuholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turun Tanakka. During the 90th minute of the match Taito Ruutu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Taito Ruutu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Taito Ruutu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Turun Tanakka players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
