After having played for 3 minutes, Kaleva Puurula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YoungHäyhä's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaleva Puurula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Turkka Manninen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Haapala, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Jeremias Haapala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Turkka Manninen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Turkka Manninen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Haapala in the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Real Kemi got a freekick which was hit by Rainer Loikala. Jyrki Lajunen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Jyrki Lajunen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesti Lehtonen kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Jeremias Haapala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YoungHäyhä fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Isko Nikko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juhana Korkeamäki in the 29th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Tapani Jokela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Kemi's Turkka Manninen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The wind increased when Tapani Jokela made the kick off in the second half. Jeremias Haapala showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3.
