Spectators: 5876 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elmeri Kuusinen made the kick off which started today's match. Joel Antila charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Antila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Turun Tanakka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Antila to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Voitto Markkula notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Turun Tanakka's Eelis Laurila. Eelis Laurila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elmeri Kuusinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Lasse Kuivaharju made a huge save. Leevi Hernesniemi took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eelis Laurila. Eelis Laurila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jalmari Vikström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lasse Kuivaharju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Elmeri Kuusinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turun Tanakka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmeri Kuusinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmeri Kuusinen got free with Lasse Kuivaharju in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leevi Hernesniemi's late challenge caught a Turun Tanakka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leevi Hernesniemi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Leevi Hernesniemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eelis Laurila came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Saramo's Voitto Markkula. But to his dismay, Voitto Markkula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After having played for 46 minutes, Jalmari Vikström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turun Tanakka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jalmari Vikström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Saramo were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Voitto Markkula made the kick off in the second half. Elmeri Kuusinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lasse Kuivaharju read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Jalmari Vikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jyrki Miinalainen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jori Kenig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lasse Kuivaharju was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Jalmari Vikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turun Tanakka's Eelis Laurila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Turun Tanakka from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Turun Tanakka's goalkeeper Eelis Laurila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taneli Rautee. In the 77th minute Elmeri Kuusinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Kuivaharju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aarno Turunen hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Voitto Markkula kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eelis Laurila. That made the score 1-4 in the 82 minute of play. Jarno Siltavirta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Lasse Kuivaharju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Antila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lasse Kuivaharju having to make a save. Although Turun Tanakka had been in control for most of the match, Saramo still came away with the win.
