Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarkko Lehtonen to make the kick off. Lassi Kaivola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kimi Kenig in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Keijo Kopola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torasalo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pokaalinmetsästäjät the free kick. In the 70th minute, Simo Vainio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erno Kokko in the 74th minute of play forced Pokaalinmetsästäjät's goalkeeper Topias Holtti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torasalo's Lassi Kaivola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markku Karhunen in the 76th minute of play. Jarkko Lehtonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torasalo's Erno Kokko got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Pokaalinmetsästäjät's goal looked a bit too open when Erno Kokko came free, but Topias Holtti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jarkko Lehtonen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Topias Holtti was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Kimi Kenig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
