Spectators: 7781 (Terracing: 5836, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 155) Seppo Hagelberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 4 minutes, Seppo Hagelberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nilosvaara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seppo Hagelberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Alvi Ollonen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jalmari Grahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvi Ollonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jalmari Grahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jukka-Pekka Sulku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvi Ollonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jukka-Pekka Sulku succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 36th minute, Nilosvaara's Seppo Hagelberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvi Ollonen made a kick off. Pentti Lätti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Eloranta in the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Seppo Hagelberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pentti Lätti was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 70th match minute, Hirslahti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iivo Kaivola to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Ari Eloranta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pentti Lätti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pentti Lätti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Eloranta in the 75th minute of the match. Jalmari Grahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jukka-Pekka Sulku in the 77th minute. Alvi Ollonen might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jalmari Grahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvi Ollonen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Alvi Ollonen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nilosvaara's Jalmari Grahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvi Ollonen in the 89th minute of play. If Jukka-Pekka Sulku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilosvaara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Alvi Ollonen scored to the left of an out of position Jalmari Grahn, making the score, 2-3. The Nilosvaara fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hirslahti FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
