The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Pertti Piispa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomo Markkula in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ultrAs fc's Heimo Antila got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rantapallot's zone, Jukka-Pekka Pynnönen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petteri Ollonen came out of the goal and Jukka-Pekka Pynnönen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FC Rantapallot's Petteri Ollonen got control of the ball when Valto Lehtimäki tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Rantapallot's Petteri Ollonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jukka-Pekka Pynnönen in the 31st minute of play. Pertti Piispa came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rantapallot's Jimi Mustonen. But to his dismay, Jimi Mustonen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Severi Piiroinen hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Heimo Antila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petteri Ollonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Rantapallot's goalkeeper Petteri Ollonen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

FC Rantapallot's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atro Puumala in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Atro Puumala got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pertti Piispa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jukka-Pekka Pynnönen in the 86th minute of play forced FC Rantapallot's goalkeeper Petteri Ollonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ultrAs fc! The ultrAs fc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Rantapallot's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Rantapallot.
