After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Petri Viitakoski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mennen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Petri Viitakoski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janne Kolsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pekka Wallen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janne Kolsi having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Pekka Wallen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Janne Kolsi. JK JOGA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pekka Wallen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, JK JOGA's goal looked a bit too open when Petri Viitakoski came free, but Janne Kolsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pekka Wallen struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Janne Kolsi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mennen FC. JK JOGA's Hannes Metsäranta got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Hannes Metsäranta managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK JOGA's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Metsäranta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jyrki Timonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pekka Wallen, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Janne Kolsi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Janne Kolsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lasse Leppilampi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janne Kolsi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pekka Wallen went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Petri Viitakoski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Janne Kolsi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 45th minute, one of JK JOGA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for JK JOGA. Arttu Timonen walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The JK JOGA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mennen FC were winning 0-3.

JK JOGA:s Janne Kolsi showed great skill when he stopped Arttu Timonen:s penalty. The supporters of Mennen FC booed when JK JOGA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Metsäranta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylvesteri Hotakainen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jyrki Timonen having to make a save. Otto Peltola charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 76thth minute of the game Sylvesteri Hotakainen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mennen FC's Jyrki Timonen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvesteri Hotakainen in the 80th minute of play forced Mennen FC's goalkeeper Jyrki Timonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Petri Viitakoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
