JK JOGA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mälsälä the free kick. After 16 played minutes JK JOGA got a freekick which was hit by Onni Hassinen. Hannes Metsäranta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heikki Kiviranta having to interfere. If Sylvesteri Hotakainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Hannes Metsäranta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Heikki Kiviranta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ali Hakanen hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Mälsälä's goal looked a bit too open when Sylvesteri Hotakainen came free, but Heikki Kiviranta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mälsälä's Heikki Kiviranta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Metsäranta in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Sylvesteri Hotakainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JK JOGA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvesteri Hotakainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. JK JOGA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvesteri Hotakainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sylvesteri Hotakainen in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heikki Kiviranta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Onni Hassinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sylvesteri Hotakainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over JK JOGA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mälsälä throughout the match.
