The crowd rose to their feet as Santeri Korpisalo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sulo Sainomaa. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Taneli Pyörälä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Antti Nutikka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Patrik Mäkiaho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antti Nutikka. Kiikanmäki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrik Mäkiaho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 27th minute, Kiikanmäki's Santeri Korpisalo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 29 played minutes Kiikanmäki got a freekick which was hit by Jonne Hotakainen. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Santeri Korpisalo took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Sulo Sainomaa to make any attempt to save it. Sulo Sainomaa stood somewhat misplaced when Tarvo Hahl came free in front of goal and shot 4-1 to the left of him in the 41 minute. Patrik Mäkiaho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taneli Pyörälä made a kick off. Sulo Sainomaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarvo Hahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Leppikorpi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valtteri Huikari to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Santeri Korpisalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Patrik Mäkiaho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Kiikanmäki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaakob Ikola to maneuver through the defense. Kiikanmäki's Antti Nutikka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taneli Pyörälä in the 81st minute of play. Antti Nutikka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taneli Pyörälä's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Santeri Korpisalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Leppikorpi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kiikanmäki.
