Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Esa Tallus got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Kiimkallio IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Esa Tallus came free, but Artturi Ruuttu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Auvo Pyörälä got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvo Palander during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rieponlahti FC booed when Kiimkallio IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvo Palander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Kunnas in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keijo Ollonen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Joel Kunnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keijo Ollonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvo Kulonen got free with Keijo Ollonen in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rainer Myllykoski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Keijo Ollonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Kunnas in the 24th minute of play. Kiimkallio IFK's Silvo Palander got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Silvo Palander off the ground. Auvo Pyörälä's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artturi Ruuttu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Esa Tallus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artturi Ruuttu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kiimkallio IFK's Joel Kunnas got a free kick in the 40th minute. A collision led to Kiimkallio IFK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Lari Koskinen hit a great ball. Auvo Pyörälä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes Kiimkallio IFK got a freekick which was hit by Isto Pelttari.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvo Kulonen to strike the kick off in the second half. Severi Uitto's late challenge caught a Kiimkallio IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severi Uitto helped the player get up and apologised. Keijo Ollonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvo Kulonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rainer Myllykoski hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Silvo Kulonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esa Tallus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Auvo Pyörälä scored 0-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artturi Ruuttu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kiimkallio IFK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Esa Tallus 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Keijo Ollonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvo Kulonen in the 84th minute of the match. If Auvo Pyörälä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Kiimkallio IFK's Artturi Ruuttu got control of the ball when Auvo Pyörälä tried to sneak it across the goal line. Auvo Pyörälä who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Artturi Ruuttu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Rieponlahti FC's Esa Tallus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artturi Ruuttu. That made the score 0-3 after 94 minutes of play. Rieponlahti FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
