Spectators: 7852 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 156) Syvari's Raine Karvinen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Sippola IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimo Vento to maneuver through the defense. Aurel Arseni struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Eelis Siltanen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syvari. Vili Keskinarkaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raino Peteri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aukusti Hautaoja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eelis Siltanen having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Sippola IFK got a freekick which was hit by Valto Koivisto. After a defensive mix-up in Sippola IFK's zone, Raine Karvinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eelis Siltanen came out of the goal and Raine Karvinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Raine Karvinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Syvari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raine Karvinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tero Koivumäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eelis Siltanen having to interfere. Iiro Uusitalo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Aukusti Hautaoja scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eelis Siltanen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 24 minutes, Raine Karvinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Syvari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raine Karvinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Iiro Uusitalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Eino Paappanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karmo Haav saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eino Paappanen fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sippola IFK's protests and gave Eino Paappanen a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Sippola IFK got a freekick which was hit by Eino Paappanen. If Vili Keskinarkaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Syvari's Tuure Esala got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Tero Koivumäki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Syvari's supporters rose to their feet, but Tero Koivumäki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eelis Siltanen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eino Paappanen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd play minute Aurel Arseni came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eelis Siltanen. 0-2. Jani Pikkarainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karmo Haav having to interfere. Eelis Siltanen was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Raine Karvinen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raine Karvinen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. If Antti Jylhä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raine Karvinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eelis Siltanen having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Eino Paappanen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Karmo Haav was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Vili Keskinarkaus came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Syvari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vili Keskinarkaus couldn't finish the play. Sippola IFK's Eelis Siltanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raine Karvinen in the 82nd minute of play. Tuure Esala was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 86 minutes into the match, Syvari's Raine Karvinen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eelis Siltanen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tero Koivumäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Raine Karvinen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eelis Siltanen, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 89 minutes, Tero Koivumäki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Syvari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tero Koivumäki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raine Karvinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Syvari's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
