The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pätiälä's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hooligans the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Pätiälä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmi Takala to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Kaapo Siren notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pätiälä's Herman Viljamaa. Herman Viljamaa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Kaapo Siren came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Hooligans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaapo Siren couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pätiälä's Anselmi Takala got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Pätiälä's Niilo Lumme made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tarmo Santahuhta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anselmi Takala was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 25th match minute, Pätiälä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmi Takala to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Kaapo Siren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hooligans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaapo Siren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, FC Hooligans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksanteri Wahlroos to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Aleksanteri Wahlroos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Viljamaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Kaapo Siren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Viljamaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herman Viljamaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaapo Siren in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaapo Siren was the one to do the kick off. If Kaapo Siren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artturi Pyörälä hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes FC Hooligans got a freekick which was hit by Aleksanteri Wahlroos. Niilo Lumme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tarmo Santahuhta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaapo Siren in the 71st minute of play forced Pätiälä's goalkeeper Herman Viljamaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Hooligans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pätiälä the free kick. The corner ended in Keijo Ojansuu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pätiälä's Herman Viljamaa did a great save. 82 minutes into the match, Pätiälä's goal looked a bit too open when Kaapo Siren came free, but Herman Viljamaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taito Ojanen kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Kaapo Siren took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herman Viljamaa. Herman Viljamaa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Pätiälä's Herman Viljamaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaapo Siren in the 92nd minute of play. If Artturi Pyörälä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pätiälä were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Hooligans for much of the match.
