When Raine Karvinen came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Syvari fans jumped to their feet. Vili Keskinarkaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmer Leinonen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Syvari's zone, Rafael Lähitie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karmo Haav came out of the goal and Rafael Lähitie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raine Karvinen scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elmer Leinonen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vili Keskinarkaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmer Leinonen having to interfere. Mikko Kilpelä lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kuutamon Kelittäjät! After 33 played minutes Syvari got a freekick which was hit by Tero Koivumäki. Tero Koivumäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Elmer Leinonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raine Karvinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmer Leinonen having to interfere. When Vili Keskinarkaus came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Syvari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vili Keskinarkaus couldn't finish the play. Elmer Leinonen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raine Karvinen went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Auvo Ikola made the kick off in the second half. When Syvari's Raine Karvinen in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kuutamon Kelittäjät's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kuutamon Kelittäjät's zone, Aurel Arseni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elmer Leinonen came out of the goal and Aurel Arseni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Kuutamon Kelittäjät's goal looked a bit too open when Aukusti Hautaoja came free, but Elmer Leinonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elmer Leinonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vili Keskinarkaus in the 61st minute of play. Kuutamon Kelittäjät's Auvo Ikola got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Raine Karvinen notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Kuutamon Kelittäjät's Elmer Leinonen. Elmer Leinonen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Auvo Ikola struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Karmo Haav didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuutamon Kelittäjät. 79 minutes into the game, Aurel Arseni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Elmer Leinonen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Syvari getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Vilppu Erkkilä hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, Vili Keskinarkaus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Elmer Leinonen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
