Ojalanperä IFK's Roope Riksman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Eerola in the 7th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Pallosalamat's Kimmo Airisto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Janne Mansikkamäki succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. Janne Mansikkamäki struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Roope Riksman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pallosalamat. If Janne Mansikkamäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mika Kopola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roope Riksman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Eerola in the 25th minute of play. Niklas Eerola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Janne Mansikkamäki might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roope Riksman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janne Mansikkamäki ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Pallosalamat's Niklas Eerola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roope Riksman. That made the score 3-0 after 40 minutes of play. Niklas Eerola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Roope Riksman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 minutes, Timo Kaitainen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pallosalamat and the Ojalanperä IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petri Pitkämäki to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Pallosalamat got a freekick which was hit by Ylermi Pentsinen. Mika Kopola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Nikodemus Kangasniemi made a huge save. Nikodemus Kangasniemi made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Mika Kopola sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heimo Jämsä during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roope Riksman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niklas Eerola went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Pallosalamat's Niklas Eerola got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pallosalamat's Nikodemus Kangasniemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petri Pitkämäki in the 71st minute of play. Petri Pitkämäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikodemus Kangasniemi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petri Pitkämäki in the 75th minute of play forced Pallosalamat's goalkeeper Nikodemus Kangasniemi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Pallosalamat got a freekick which was hit by August Pitkämäki. After 78 played minutes Ojalanperä IFK got a freekick which was hit by Pekka Laitinen. Roope Riksman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kimmo Airisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Heimo Jämsä got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Ojalanperä IFK's zone, Janne Mansikkamäki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roope Riksman came out of the goal and Janne Mansikkamäki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Niklas Eerola notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Ojalanperä IFK's Roope Riksman. Roope Riksman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janne Mansikkamäki in the 95th minute of play forced Ojalanperä IFK's goalkeeper Roope Riksman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pallosalamat walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
