After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcelona's zone, Vesa Uitto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aarno Leinonen came out of the goal and Vesa Uitto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Ahto Helenius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barcelona's Aarno Leinonen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ahto Helenius came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC Inter Armada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahto Helenius couldn't finish the play. Sami Valkealahti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ossi Leppiniemi in the 82nd minute of the match. Aarno Leinonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahto Helenius in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Aimo Heinikangas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aarno Leinonen stood somewhat misplaced when Ahto Helenius came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 87 minute. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Teuvo Reponen hit a great ball. When FC Inter Armada's Ahto Helenius in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
