In the 15th minute, Edvard Kankaanpää hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Pockar's Oskari Askolin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. The FCB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Saku Eskola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kalle Kivimäki kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pockar's Jarkko Huppunen got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kalle Kivimäki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Pockar got a freekick which was hit by Petri Kuusela. After having played for 64 minutes, Aleksi Paavola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pockar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksi Paavola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
