The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahto Helenius got free with Paavo Häppölä in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, Vili Jussilainen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Vili Jussilainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCB's supporters rose to their feet, but Vili Jussilainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sami Valkealahti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kustaa Ruhanen in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sami Valkealahti saved FC Inter Armada from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Niko Koistinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Paavo Häppölä managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when FC Inter Armada's Vesa Uitto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sami Valkealahti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kustaa Ruhanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FCB's Paavo Häppölä played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vesa Uitto in the 26th minute of play. Vesa Uitto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Paavo Häppölä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, FCB's goalkeeper Paavo Häppölä had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niko Koistinen. Vesa Uitto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, FCB's goalkeeper Paavo Häppölä had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niko Koistinen. Paavo Häppölä showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vesa Uitto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Paavo Häppölä showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vesa Uitto, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCB's goalkeeper Paavo Häppölä, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kustaa Ruhanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, FCB's Vili Jussilainen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sami Valkealahti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FCB booed when FC Inter Armada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aimo Heinikangas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Inter Armada's zone, Kustaa Ruhanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sami Valkealahti came out of the goal and Kustaa Ruhanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Inter Armada were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FCB for a fine match.
