The Leppada FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herkko Laitila should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Arsenal fc's Tapani Kangaskorpi got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Leppada FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arsenal fc were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isto Siltavirta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Leppada FC's Väinö Nurmi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aarno Manneroos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Isto Siltavirta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aarno Manneroos having to interfere. A collision led to Arsenal fc getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tapani Kangaskorpi hit a great ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Väinö Nurmi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leppada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Väinö Nurmi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Väinö Nurmi scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aarno Manneroos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aarno Manneroos came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Leppada FC's Väinö Nurmi. But to his dismay, Väinö Nurmi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Leppada FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
