Spikis's supporters rose to their feet, but Panu Hietalahti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severi Nurmi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aku Ruutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommi Pakarinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ossian Antila in the 42nd minute of the match. Ossian Antila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommi Pakarinen having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ossian Antila to strike the kick off in the second half. Launo Aalto missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 58 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Tommi Pakarinen right hand side. Tommi Pakarinen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Ossian Antila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. The Spikis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Akilles F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
