Joel Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Henrik Vallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Lindberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrik Vallin. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. The supporters of Tennäs FC booed when Trastmossen IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyösti Kuoppala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilpo Kokko came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Tennäs FC's Ilkka Uusitalo. But to his dismay, Ilkka Uusitalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Daavid Jokinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilmo Noponen in the 36th minute of play forced Trastmossen IFK's goalkeeper Ilpo Kokko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Joel Lindberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tennäs FC's Henrik Vallin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Joel Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ilmo Noponen made a kick off. Joel Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Vallin having to interfere. The supporters of Trastmossen IFK booed when Tennäs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onni Suoste didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Trastmossen IFK's zone, Ilkka Uusitalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilpo Kokko came out of the goal and Ilkka Uusitalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jani Loukonen kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ilkka Uusitalo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ilmo Noponen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Trastmossen IFK's Heikki Kuuri got a free kick in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Tennäs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daavid Jokinen came free, but Henrik Vallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
