Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) Akilles F.C's Ossian Antila started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sampo Vatanen struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Severi Nurmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liikkala IFK. After a defensive mix-up in Akilles F.C's zone, Atro Korhonen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severi Nurmi came out of the goal and Atro Korhonen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 5 minutes, Olli Myllylä mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liikkala IFK and the Akilles F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Olli Myllylä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Liikkala IFK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Atro Korhonen hit a great ball. If Ossian Antila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kustavi Ojansuu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Kustavi Ojansuu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liikkala IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kustavi Ojansuu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severi Nurmi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severi Nurmi came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Liikkala IFK's Kustavi Ojansuu. But to his dismay, Kustavi Ojansuu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sampo Vatanen struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sampo Vatanen in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severi Nurmi saved Akilles F.C from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Akilles F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Raimo Enola came free, but Severi Nurmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sampo Vatanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Severi Nurmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severi Nurmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sampo Vatanen in the 32nd minute of play. Sampo Vatanen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severi Nurmi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Sampo Vatanen made a precise shot to the right of Severi Nurmi. Akilles F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Atro Korhonen charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atro Korhonen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Liikkala IFK's Atro Korhonen got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Akilles F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Sampo Vatanen came free, but Severi Nurmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akilles F.C's Severi Nurmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kustavi Ojansuu in the 45th minute of play. Sampo Vatanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severi Nurmi having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sampo Vatanen to make the kick off. Vesa Alin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Onni Alatalo. Liikkala IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th minute, Kustavi Ojansuu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 minutes, Janne Saariaho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liikkala IFK and the Akilles F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sampo Vatanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Sampo Vatanen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severi Nurmi was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimi Kunnas during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Akilles F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Liikkala IFK:s goal. The goalkeeper, Severi Nurmi, was totally fooled by Liikkala IFK's Jimi Hautaoja, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kustavi Ojansuu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severi Nurmi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Launo Aalto fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 85th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Launo Aalto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ossian Antila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akilles F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Sampo Vatanen scored to the left of an out of position Severi Nurmi, making the score, 0-5. Liikkala IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
