When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Sampo Vatanen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ilpo Kokko to make any attempt to save it. Onni Alatalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heikki Kuuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Joel Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onni Alatalo having to interfere. In the 12th minute Daavid Jokinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onni Alatalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Heikki Kuuri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trastmossen IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heikki Kuuri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sampo Vatanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ilpo Kokko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trastmossen IFK's goalkeeper Ilpo Kokko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sampo Vatanen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ilpo Kokko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sampo Vatanen in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Liikkala IFK's zone, Joel Lindberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onni Alatalo came out of the goal and Joel Lindberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sampo Vatanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kustavi Ojansuu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ilpo Kokko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilpo Kokko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kustavi Ojansuu in the 65th minute of play. Onni Alatalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lindberg in the 69th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Sampo Vatanen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trastmossen IFK's Ilpo Kokko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Liikkala IFK's Sampo Vatanen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilpo Kokko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Kustavi Ojansuu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Trastmossen IFK's Eelis Sorsamäki got a free kick in the 85th minute. Joel Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Joel Lindberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Joel Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Trastmossen IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Lindberg couldn't finish the play. If Daavid Jokinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Liikkala IFK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Trastmossen IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
