With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jussi Vuorio in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aukusti Salermo saved Gers FC from getting behind. Pauli Eskelinen hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Jussi Vuorio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aukusti Salermo to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Gers FC booed when Östrabyugo IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aatu Pihlanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Östrabyugo IFK's Otso Snellman got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute, Antero Ollonen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Jussi Vuorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Östrabyugo IFK's Pellervo Heinikallio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ylermi Ahmaoja in the 24th minute of play. Timo Korkeakoski's late challenge caught a Gers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timo Korkeakoski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Timo Korkeakoski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pellervo Heinikallio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aatami Ristolainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 34th minute of the match, Jussi Vuorio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aukusti Salermo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leo Takavirta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Aukusti Salermo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Gers FC's Aukusti Salermo got control of the ball when Leo Takavirta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aukusti Salermo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jussi Vuorio in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match, Jussi Vuorio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aukusti Salermo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Gers FC defense, Jussi Vuorio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aukusti Salermo. The Gers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aukusti Salermo should have stopped the shot. Jussi Vuorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aukusti Salermo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ylermi Ahmaoja made a kick off. Timo Korkeakoski hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Östrabyugo IFK's Pellervo Heinikallio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ylermi Ahmaoja in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ylermi Ahmaoja in the 59th minute of play forced Östrabyugo IFK's goalkeeper Pellervo Heinikallio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Jussi Vuorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östrabyugo IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jussi Vuorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Leo Takavirta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östrabyugo IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Takavirta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aukusti Salermo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jussi Vuorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aukusti Salermo was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. A collision led to Östrabyugo IFK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Aatu Pihlanen hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Gers FC got a corner. Östrabyugo IFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hemmo Forsman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hemmo Forsman made a great header on Gers FC's corner, it was just that Östrabyugo IFK's Pellervo Heinikallio managed to reach the ball for a save. If Leo Takavirta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gers FC's Aatami Ristolainen got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jussi Vuorio struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Aukusti Salermo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Östrabyugo IFK. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Leo Takavirta sped through Gers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aukusti Salermo. Jussi Vuorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jussi Vuorio in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aukusti Salermo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Jussi Vuorio notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Gers FC's Aukusti Salermo. Aukusti Salermo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Östrabyugo IFK had played much better football throughout.
