In the 10th minute August Laaksonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aukusti Salermo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hemmo Forsman kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Aukusti Salermo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from August Laaksonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When August Laaksonen came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Fc Baljars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Laaksonen couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Laaksonen in the 23rd minute of play forced Gers FC's goalkeeper Aukusti Salermo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauri Väänänen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ylermi Ahmaoja, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aatami Ristolainen in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauri Väänänen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valtteri Järvensivu made a great header on Fc Baljars's corner, it was just that Gers FC's Aukusti Salermo managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st minute, Ylermi Ahmaoja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mauri Väänänen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aatami Ristolainen went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Aukusti Salermo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Laaksonen in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Atte Forsman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Baljars's supporters rose to their feet, but Atte Forsman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aukusti Salermo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aatami Ristolainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mauri Väänänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aatami Ristolainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ylermi Ahmaoja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aatami Ristolainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauri Väänänen having to interfere. Fc Baljars's Mauri Väänänen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Baljars from getting a goal against them. The Fc Baljars supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gers FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gers FC.
