August Laaksonen kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Atte Forsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Kananen having to interfere. Atte Forsman took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Kananen. Peter Kananen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. August Laaksonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Kananen having to interfere. Västersund's Peter Kananen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Laaksonen in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, August Laaksonen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Baljars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Västersund's Peter Kananen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Laaksonen in the 26th minute of play. August Laaksonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Peter Kananen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Kananen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Laaksonen in the 32nd minute of the match. Atte Forsman struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Peter Kananen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Baljars. Eevert Luhtio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Sulo Olkkonen came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Västersund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sulo Olkkonen couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell August Laaksonen to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tyni Katila notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fc Baljars's Mauri Väänänen. Mauri Väänänen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atte Forsman came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Peter Kananen could save by the left post. 62 minutes into the game, Aukusti Palander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Västersund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Baljars the free kick. Fc Baljars's Valtteri Järvensivu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Västersund. Mauri Väänänen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Olkkonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tyni Katila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västersund's supporters rose to their feet, but Tyni Katila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauri Väänänen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauri Väänänen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Olkkonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Atte Forsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Peter Kananen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, August Laaksonen made a precise shot to the right of Peter Kananen. Västersund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Atte Forsman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Kananen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Sulo Olkkonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mauri Väänänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, Västersund's Tyni Katila made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauri Väänänen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Fc Baljars players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
