Thanks to some nice moves Jonne Ruutu could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Timo Kortelainen however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Eate in the 72nd minute of play forced Korsnös's goalkeeper Teijo Kopola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kattfittliden's Alpi Sorsa got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
