Hannes Kaikkonen charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jonni Mäkinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonni Mäkinen charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heimo Helminen in the 88th minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Tino Piispa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heimo Helminen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tino Piispa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manchester City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
