Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Antti Rintala started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Antti Rintala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harri Tarvajärvi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Terho Louke made a huge save. After a rather tough play, JS Helsinki's Uuno Holtti got a free kick in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Blacksmith Villagers FC's Antti Rintala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Terho Louke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Harri Rantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Topi Sainomaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harri Rantala in the 27th minute of play. Harri Tarvajärvi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Terho Louke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in JS Helsinki's zone, Antti Rintala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terho Louke came out of the goal and Antti Rintala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Lundell kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Terho Louke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antti Rintala in the 44th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, JS Helsinki's goalkeeper Terho Louke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harri Tarvajärvi. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harri Rantala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blacksmith Villagers FC's goalkeeper Topi Sainomaa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harri Tarvajärvi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Antti Rintala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terho Louke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, JS Helsinki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Valkealahti to maneuver through the defense. If Antti Rintala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes, Voitto Lundell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blacksmith Villagers FC and the JS Helsinki players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Blacksmith Villagers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Voitto Lundell to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Harri Rantala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Topi Sainomaa. That made the score 0-1 in the 72 minute of play. When Antti Rintala came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Blacksmith Villagers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antti Rintala couldn't finish the play. Antti Rintala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terho Louke having to interfere. JS Helsinki's Terho Louke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antti Rintala in the 86th minute of play. JS Helsinki's Harri Rantala got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Otto Valkealahti fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JS Helsinki's protests and gave Otto Valkealahti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Otto Valkealahti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, JS Helsinki's goal looked a bit too open when Harri Tarvajärvi came free, but Terho Louke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Blacksmith Villagers FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching JS Helsinki's performance. The match ended with a win for JS Helsinki.
