Aapo Kurri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauno Ruohiainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauno Ruohiainen in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aapo Kurri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aapo Kurri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauno Ruohiainen in the 14th minute. Saku Jatkola hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Isokadytö IFK's Kauno Ruohiainen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aapo Kurri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Aapo Kurri made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Kauno Ruohiainen sent off a good shot on target. After 24 played minutes Isokadytö IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kauno Ruohiainen. 26 minutes into the match, Åbo United's goalkeeper Aapo Kurri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Topias Kokkonen. If Rubens Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isokadytö IFK's Otto Miettinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Into Wallden in the 35th minute of play. Otto Miettinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Into Wallden in the 39th minute of play. Arsi Kalliokoski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aapo Kurri came out and tried to block the shot, but Arsi Kalliokoski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Åbo United's zone, Kauno Ruohiainen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aapo Kurri came out of the goal and Kauno Ruohiainen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauno Ruohiainen was the one to do the kick off. Isokadytö IFK's Kauno Ruohiainen got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aapo Kurri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsi Kalliokoski in the 56th minute of the match. Isokadytö IFK's Arsi Kalliokoski got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vili Rajamäki took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aapo Kurri. Isokadytö IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åbo United the free kick. The supporters of Åbo United booed when Isokadytö IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heikki Salminen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saku Jatkola was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Åbo United's Rubens Paranaense got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Vili Rajamäki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Topias Kokkonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Isokadytö IFK booed when Åbo United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saku Jatkola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aapo Kurri came out of the goal and Kauno Ruohiainen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 94th minute of the match Rubens Paranaense completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rubens Paranaense a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Åbo United getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rubens Paranaense hit a great ball. Isokadytö IFK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
