Spectators: 6944 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pentti Halminen kicked off to start the match. Filomeno Fiz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aarne Penttinen. After a rather tough play, Kosamo FC's Samuel Niemivirta got a free kick in the 8th minute. Kosamo FC's attentive Aarre Saastamoinen managed to snatch the ball when Aarne Penttinen made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Petes IFK's zone, Aarre Saastamoinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Puumala came out of the goal and Aarre Saastamoinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute of the match Petteri Grönvall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mikael Puumala skillfully saved the ball. Mikael Puumala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aarre Kylmänen in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Kosamo FC's Pentti Halminen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikael Puumala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Pentti Halminen put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mikael Puumala. After 25 played minutes Petes IFK got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Nitti. Aarre Kylmänen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aarre Kylmänen might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Puumala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aarre Kylmänen ran back to his position shaking his head. Kosamo FC's Filomeno Fiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Kosamo FC from getting a goal against them. Olli-Pekka Siltanen's late challenge caught a Petes IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olli-Pekka Siltanen helped the player get up and apologised. 33 minutes into the game, one of Kosamo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mikael Puumala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aarre Kylmänen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kosamo FC's Aarre Saastamoinen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aarne Penttinen in the 41 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Pentti Halminen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Puumala was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pentti Halminen in the 44th minute of play forced Petes IFK's goalkeeper Mikael Puumala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvar Nitti made a kick off. If Aki Tähtinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kosamo FC's zone, Alvar Nitti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Fiz came out of the goal and Alvar Nitti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petes IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Aarre Kylmänen scored to the left of an out of position Mikael Puumala, making the score, 0-3. In the 69th minute, Kosamo FC's Aarre Kylmänen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mikael Puumala. Mikael Puumala yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 77 minutes into the match, Petes IFK's goalkeeper Mikael Puumala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pentti Halminen. Samuel Niemivirta took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikael Puumala. Mikael Puumala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Kosamo FC's Pentti Halminen got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Pentti Halminen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Puumala was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Voitto Huppunen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aki Tähtinen scored 1-5 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Fiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Aki Tähtinen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Filomeno Fiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
