Spectators: 6944 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julius Suominen kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Lintuvuori FC defense, Oiva Kärnä kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jyrki Puutio. The Lintuvuori FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jyrki Puutio should have stopped the shot. In the 10th match minute, Singsby HF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iiro Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. Iisakki Palonen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Miikka Rintala. If Jani Järventaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iisakki Palonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Suominen, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Aimo Kurri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iisakki Palonen. Singsby HF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aimo Kurri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 26 played minutes Singsby HF got a freekick which was hit by Ahto Palenius. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aimo Kurri during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Singsby HF booed when Lintuvuori FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aimo Kurri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Ahto Palenius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Singsby HF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lintuvuori FC the free kick. Ahto Palenius hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Lintuvuori FC's Miikka Rintala broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Miikka Rintala, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Oiva Kärnä hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes, Paavo Noponen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Singsby HF and the Lintuvuori FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paavo Noponen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Iisakki Palonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Suominen in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 57th match minute, Lintuvuori FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Voitto Martikainen to maneuver through the defense. In the 59thth minute of the game Oiva Kärnä who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lintuvuori FC's Jyrki Puutio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, Singsby HF's Oiva Kärnä ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jyrki Puutio. Jyrki Puutio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Iiro Rosendahl hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Aimo Kurri made a precise shot to the right of Iisakki Palonen. Singsby HF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. A collision led to Lintuvuori FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mikko Alanen hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Mikko Alanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Jani Järventaus could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Jyrki Puutio however easily saved by the left post. Jani Järventaus in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jyrki Puutio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oiva Kärnä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jani Järventaus got free with Jyrki Puutio in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Lintuvuori FC's zone, Oiva Kärnä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jyrki Puutio came out of the goal and Oiva Kärnä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Lintuvuori FC's Jyrki Puutio got control of the ball when Jani Järventaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Singsby HF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lintuvuori FC throughout the match.
