Vili Rajamäki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilkka Kuusiniemi having to make a save. Ilkka Kuusiniemi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsi Kalliokoski in the 11th minute. Allan Jokilahti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Öjnaa's Allan Jokilahti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otto Miettinen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arsi Kalliokoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ilkka Kuusiniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rainer Kärki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Jarkko Halonen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otto Miettinen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Allan Jokilahti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Miettinen having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Öjnaa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarkko Halonen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Topias Kokkonen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Isokadytö IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Öjnaa were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Allan Jokilahti made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Topias Kokkonen in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilkka Kuusiniemi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isokadytö IFK's Otto Miettinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Jokilahti in the 55th minute of play. Kauno Ruohiainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unto Murto in the 61st minute of play forced Öjnaa's goalkeeper Ilkka Kuusiniemi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tauno Viljamaa's late challenge caught a Isokadytö IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tauno Viljamaa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Öjnaa getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mika Reinikka hit a great ball. If Vili Rajamäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arsi Kalliokoski came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Isokadytö IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsi Kalliokoski couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Kauno Ruohiainen made a precise shot to the right of Ilkka Kuusiniemi. Öjnaa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Öjnaa getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Allan Jokilahti hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes Öjnaa got a freekick which was hit by Rami Häkkinen. In the 84th minute Albert Jaakola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilkka Kuusiniemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Jaakola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ilkka Kuusiniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Allan Jokilahti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öjnaa's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Jokilahti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Miettinen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle went the supporters of Öjnaa were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Isokadytö IFK side.
