Spectators: 6942 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kauno Ruohiainen made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Topias Kokkonen in the 3rd minute of play forced Lintuvuori FC's goalkeeper Jyrki Puutio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Arsi Kalliokoski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Miikka Rintala sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Isokadytö IFK's Otto Miettinen didn't even have to move. Lintuvuori FC's Julius Suominen suffered a concussion after 14 minutes and had to leave the field. Armas Sammalkangas's late challenge caught a Lintuvuori FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armas Sammalkangas helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Lintuvuori FC a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Miikka Rintala, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Isokadytö IFK's Otto Miettinen. 1-0. Vili Rajamäki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lintuvuori FC's Jyrki Puutio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Topias Kokkonen in the 27th minute of play. A well done corner resulted in Arsi Kalliokoski drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Lintuvuori FC's goalkeeper. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauno Ruohiainen in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jyrki Puutio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 40 minutes, Topias Kokkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isokadytö IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Topias Kokkonen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jyrki Puutio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauno Ruohiainen's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lintuvuori FC's zone, Topias Kokkonen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jyrki Puutio came out of the goal and Topias Kokkonen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Kauno Ruohiainen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jyrki Puutio. Lintuvuori FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kauno Ruohiainen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aimo Kurri to make the kick off. Jyrki Puutio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauno Ruohiainen in the 52nd minute of play. If Arsi Kalliokoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikko Alanen charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikko Alanen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Lintuvuori FC got a freekick which was hit by Mikko Alanen. In the 67th minute, Kauno Ruohiainen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jyrki Puutio. The goal made the score 2-3. Isokadytö IFK's Topias Kokkonen got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miikka Rintala hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Vili Rajamäki came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Isokadytö IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vili Rajamäki couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Kauno Ruohiainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isokadytö IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kauno Ruohiainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jyrki Puutio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Topias Kokkonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Unto Murto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isokadytö IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Unto Murto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jyrki Puutio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unto Murto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kauno Ruohiainen came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Isokadytö IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauno Ruohiainen couldn't finish the play. Isokadytö IFK's Vili Rajamäki got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Lintuvuori FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Isokadytö IFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
