Spectators: 6950 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kauno Ruohiainen kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauno Ruohiainen in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikael Puumala saved Petes IFK from getting behind. If Aki Tähtinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Puumala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauno Ruohiainen's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes, Toimi Salminen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Petes IFK and the Isokadytö IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Petes IFK got a freekick which was hit by Toimi Salminen. If Topias Kokkonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Puumala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauno Ruohiainen went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Isokadytö IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Nitti came free, but Otto Miettinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Vili Rajamäki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikael Puumala was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mikael Puumala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Topias Kokkonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Isokadytö IFK booed when Petes IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvar Reponen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Petes IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kauno Ruohiainen came free, but Mikael Puumala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Isokadytö IFK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvar Nitti was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Petes IFK got a freekick which was hit by Risto Sainomaa. 0-4 became the score in the 53rd minute when Vili Rajamäki elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Isokadytö IFK's Kauno Ruohiainen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Puumala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kauno Ruohiainens short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Mikael Puumala to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jyrki Huppunen hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Petes IFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kauno Ruohiainen was slow to take the kick. During this time Isokadytö IFK's players had a chance to rest. Arsi Kalliokoski kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mikael Puumala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Topias Kokkonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Vili Rajamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Arsi Kalliokoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isokadytö IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsi Kalliokoski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Topias Kokkonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vili Rajamäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mikael Puumala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Petes IFK got a freekick which was hit by Jyrki Huppunen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauno Ruohiainen in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. After 85 minutes of play, Petes IFK's Alvar Nitti made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otto Miettinen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, Petes IFK's goalkeeper Mikael Puumala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauno Ruohiainen. Kalervo Korkeakoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mikael Puumala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Petes IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Isokadytö IFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
