An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Comșa in the 3rd minute of play forced Lintuvuori FC's goalkeeper Jyrki Puutio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Esa Laitila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandu Comșa scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jyrki Puutio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Lintuvuori FC defense, Sandu Comșa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jyrki Puutio. The Lintuvuori FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jyrki Puutio should have stopped the shot. Sandu Comșa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jyrki Puutio having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Vakkuri IFK's Kauno Lumme got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Suominen in the 23rd minute of play forced Vakkuri IFK's goalkeeper Malvin Elenes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Oliver Lätti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lintuvuori FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vakkuri IFK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lintuvuori FC's Oliver Lätti got a free kick in the 25th minute. Sandu Comșa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Sandu Comșa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vakkuri IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Vakkuri IFK's Sandu Comșa got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aimo Kurri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malvin Elenes having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Esa Laitila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sandu Comșa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jyrki Puutio was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Valto Kotilahti's late challenge caught a Vakkuri IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Mikko Alanen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Malvin Elenes. Vakkuri IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jyrki Puutio was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Sandu Comșa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sandu Comșa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lintuvuori FC's goalkeeper Jyrki Puutio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esa Laitila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jyrki Puutio made a huge save. After 67 minutes of play Lintuvuori FC's Oliver Lätti was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 68 played minutes Lintuvuori FC got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Lätti. 71 minutes into the match, Sandu Comșa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jyrki Puutio. Lintuvuori FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandu Comșa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Jyrki Puutio was a little too slow when Sandu Comșa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-8. In the 80th minute, Elia Granati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sandu Comșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lintuvuori FC's zone, Sandu Comșa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jyrki Puutio came out of the goal and Sandu Comșa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Esa Laitila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vakkuri IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
