Poikmetsä's Bart Guy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Poikmetsä from getting a goal against them. Paavo Louke kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Tärnebolstad's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Vermeulen came free, but Sami Veikkanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paavo Louke in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sami Veikkanen saved Tärnebolstad from getting behind. Sami Veikkanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Visa Elovaara in the 23rd minute of play. Poikmetsä's Paavo Louke got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Poikmetsä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paavo Louke to maneuver through the defense. Visa Elovaara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tärnebolstad's Sami Veikkanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Vermeulen in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paavo Louke in the 35th minute of play forced Tärnebolstad's goalkeeper Sami Veikkanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paavo Louke in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sami Veikkanen saved Tärnebolstad from getting behind. If Visa Elovaara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sami Veikkanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paavo Louke in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paavo Louke in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sami Veikkanen saved Tärnebolstad from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marko Mäntylä to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Marko Mäntylä managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tärnebolstad's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Mäntylä was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bart Guy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jacob Vermeulen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Marko Mäntylä managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tärnebolstad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marko Mäntylä was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marko Mäntylä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Guy having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Aleksi Heinola threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tärnebolstad's Antto Manninen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 64 minutes into the match, Poikmetsä's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Mäntylä came free, but Bart Guy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marko Mäntylä kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Tärnebolstad getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Asko Pihlajamäki hit a great ball. Jacob Vermeulen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sami Veikkanen came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacob Vermeulen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 79th minute. Bart Guy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Mäntylä, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Marko Mäntylä took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bart Guy. Bart Guy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Paavo Louke scored 1-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sami Veikkanen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Paavo Louke reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sami Veikkanen. The goal made the score 1-3. Jacob Vermeulen took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sami Veikkanen. Sami Veikkanen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Poikmetsä walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
