Spectators: 6935 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1935, VIP seats: 0) Kassor IFK's Mikael Uusitalo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Kassor IFK booed when Riippa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uuno Murto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Riippa FC's Toimi Kenig made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vihtori Alatalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Kassor IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Toimi Kenig came free, but Vihtori Alatalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Riippa FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mikael Uusitalo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Riippa FC's Cyprian Bucyki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Uusitalo in the 23rd minute of play. Uuno Murto charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uuno Murto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Riippa FC got a freekick which was hit by Uuno Murto. After a defensive mix-up in Kassor IFK's zone, Toimi Kenig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vihtori Alatalo came out of the goal and Toimi Kenig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aatos Holappa struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Vihtori Alatalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riippa FC. 31 minutes into the match, Kassor IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Aatos Holappa came free, but Vihtori Alatalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Uuno Murto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riippa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uuno Murto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ohto Immonen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uuno Murto in the 47th minute of play forced Kassor IFK's goalkeeper Vihtori Alatalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toimi Kenig was the one to do the kick off. Reima Haataja charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reima Haataja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kassor IFK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Reima Haataja hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Riippa FC's Kristian Tallqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vihtori Alatalo. Vihtori Alatalo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 56 minutes into the match, Kassor IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Aatos Holappa came free, but Vihtori Alatalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Aatos Holappa rounded Kassor IFK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Aatos Holappa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Riippa FC's Uuno Murto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vihtori Alatalo. Vihtori Alatalo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 74th minute, Toimi Kenig made a precise shot to the right of Vihtori Alatalo. Kassor IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 78 minutes into the match, Aatos Holappa notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Kassor IFK's Vihtori Alatalo. Vihtori Alatalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vihtori Alatalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aatos Holappa in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Kassor IFK's Vihtori Alatalo got control of the ball when Toimi Kenig tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Aatos Holappa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the game, Riippa FC's Toimi Kenig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vihtori Alatalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Riippa FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Bucyki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Riippa FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Kristian Tallqvist hit a great ball. When the match was over Riippa FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kassor IFK throughout the match.
