Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sakari Murto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Suonenvaara's goalkeeper Jeremias Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antti Parkkali kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Ale Eloranta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pekko Karvinen in the 12th minute of the match. Ale Eloranta came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Suonenvaara's Kari Snellman. But to his dismay, Kari Snellman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verneri Innanen in the 20th minute of play forced Helsinki Raptors's goalkeeper Ale Eloranta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Helsinki Raptors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herkko Kauppinen to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Aki Trehkopf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ale Eloranta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kari Snellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kari Snellman took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ale Eloranta. Ale Eloranta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 30th minute, Verneri Innanen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ale Eloranta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Verneri Innanen put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ale Eloranta. 0-6 became the score in the 38th minute when Verneri Innanen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Verneri Innanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ale Eloranta having to interfere. Reijo Harjanne charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reijo Harjanne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reijo Harjanne hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Verneri Innanen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ale Eloranta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kari Snellman made the kick off in the second half. When Verneri Innanen came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Suonenvaara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Verneri Innanen couldn't finish the play. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Helsinki Raptors! Verneri Innanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Suonenvaara's Jeremias Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erno Hiltunen in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Helsinki Raptors were awarded a corner. Sakari Murto went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Helsinki Raptors's corner Sakari Murto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jeremias Marquez quite easily take care of the ball. In the 63rd minute Sakari Murto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Helsinki Raptors got a freekick which was hit by Sakari Murto. Kari Snellman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Verneri Innanen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suonenvaara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verneri Innanen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kari Snellman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ale Eloranta having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Helsinki Raptors's goal looked a bit too open when Kari Snellman came free, but Ale Eloranta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Tino Piekkanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helsinki Raptors made a substitution. Ossi Timonen replaced Sakari Murto. In the 74th minute, Tino Piekkanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Verneri Innanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th match minute, Helsinki Raptors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tino Piekkanen to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Kai Tuovinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 minutes of play Helsinki Raptors's Reijo Harjanne was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 89 played minutes Helsinki Raptors got a freekick which was hit by Reijo Harjanne. In the 91st minute, Pekko Karvinen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ale Eloranta, passed just outside the right post. Ale Eloranta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verneri Innanen in the 92nd minute of play. Ale Eloranta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verneri Innanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes Helsinki Raptors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Verneri Innanen who took care of the corner kick. In the 95th minute of the match Suonenvaara got a corner. Helsinki Raptors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Verneri Innanen ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Verneri Innanen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ale Eloranta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jeremias Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aki Trehkopf in the 99th minute of the match. The Helsinki Raptors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Suonenvaara were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
