Spectators: 7593 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 150) Poikmetsä's Paavo Louke started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tauno Oravainen hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes, Poikmetsä's Marko Nyyssönen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matti Torkkeli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Poikmetsä reached it. Sippolanperä's Matti Torkkeli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Sippolanperä from getting a goal against them. Sippolanperä were furious when Eevert Pyörälä was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paavo Louke in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matti Torkkeli saved Sippolanperä from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Aapeli Mäkinen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Matti Torkkeli to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Visa Elovaara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the game's 25th minute Sippolanperä's Tapio Pesonen took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Bart Guy and thus the score was 1-1. A collision led to Sippolanperä getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tauno Oravainen hit a great ball. If Paavo Louke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacob Vermeulen in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matti Torkkeli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Sippolanperä's Matti Torkkeli got control of the ball when Visa Elovaara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matti Torkkeli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paavo Louke showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Matti Torkkeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Visa Elovaara in the 52nd minute of the match. Visa Elovaara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paavo Louke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Visa Elovaara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matti Torkkeli having to make a save. When Jacob Vermeulen came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Poikmetsä fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Vermeulen couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sippolanperä's Urpo Salmela got a free kick in the 68th minute. Matti Torkkeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Visa Elovaara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play, Poikmetsä's Paavo Louke made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matti Torkkeli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Visa Elovaara made a precise shot to the right of Matti Torkkeli. Sippolanperä's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Visa Elovaara in the 91st minute of play forced Sippolanperä's goalkeeper Matti Torkkeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paavo Louke in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matti Torkkeli saved Sippolanperä from getting behind. Poikmetsä's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aapeli Mäkinen in the 94th minute. It was a well-played corner which Marko Nyyssönen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 95 minutes into the game, Tauno Oravainen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sippolanperä's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poikmetsä the free kick. After 95 played minutes Sippolanperä got a freekick which was hit by Tauno Oravainen. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Poikmetsä had played much better football throughout.
