Spectators: 6941 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nikodemus Jaakola got the match started through his kick off. Jukka Brinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Uusitalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Jukka Brinck made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Tony Murto sent off a good shot on target. Nikodemus Jaakola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vihtori Alatalo having to interfere. Jani Mikkola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Kassor IFK defense, Nikodemus Jaakola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vihtori Alatalo. The Kassor IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vihtori Alatalo should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Kassor IFK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tapani Puikkonen hit a great ball. Nikodemus Jaakola might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vihtori Alatalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikodemus Jaakola ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikodemus Jaakola in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vihtori Alatalo saved Kassor IFK from getting behind. When Toni Puurunen fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kassor IFK's protests and gave Toni Puurunen a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Kassor IFK got a freekick which was hit by Toni Puurunen. Kassor IFK's Mikael Uusitalo got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikael Uusitalo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jani Mikkola in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vihtori Alatalo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Kiviranta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jukka Brinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rainer Kirjonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Mikael Uusitalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jukka Brinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Sjundeby FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mikael Uusitalo made the kick off in the second half. Nikodemus Jaakola who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Vihtori Alatalo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vihtori Alatalo made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Nikodemus Jaakola sent off a good shot on target. Ali Kiviranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vihtori Alatalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikodemus Jaakola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikael Uusitalo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jukka Brinck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kassor IFK. If Nikodemus Jaakola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kassor IFK's goalkeeper Vihtori Alatalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, Sjundeby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janne Grönvall to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Tony Murto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jukka Brinck. Sjundeby FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Murto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Kassor IFK were victorious despite being under pressure from Sjundeby FC for much of the match.
