Armas Pylkäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antti Parkkali, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Aki Trehkopf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute, Helsinki Raptors's Sakari Murto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 25 played minutes Pengonpohja IFK got a freekick which was hit by Tomi Parkkali. When %teams%'s Aki Trehkopf was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 28 minutes into the game. Armas Pylkäs was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Armas Pylkäs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aki Trehkopf in the 31st minute of play. Ahto Pihlainen lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Pengonpohja IFK's Ahto Pihlainen got a free kick in the 39th minute. Sakari Murto, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sulevi Tuomisalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ale Eloranta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Roope Hassinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Helsinki Raptors getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Herkko Kauppinen hit a great ball. Ale Eloranta made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Sulevi Tuomisalo sent off a good shot on target. Sulevi Tuomisalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ale Eloranta made a huge save. Armas Pylkäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ossi Timonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aki Trehkopf in the 79th minute of play forced Pengonpohja IFK's goalkeeper Armas Pylkäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sulevi Tuomisalo got free with Ale Eloranta in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
