Klaus Teräs charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaus Teräs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sippolanperä booed when Tärnebolstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Teräs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Klaus Teräs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tärnebolstad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klaus Teräs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Tärnebolstad's goal looked a bit too open when Urpo Salmela came free, but Sami Veikkanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Tärnebolstad's Marko Mäntylä dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Marko Mäntylä struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Matti Torkkeli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tärnebolstad. The crowd rose to their feet as Tärnebolstad's Klaus Teräs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matti Torkkeli. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Marko Mäntylä managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tärnebolstad's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Mäntylä was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matti Torkkeli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matti Torkkeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Mäntylä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matti Torkkeli came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Tärnebolstad's Asko Pihlajamäki. But to his dismay, Asko Pihlajamäki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 40th minute, Asko Pihlajamäki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tärnebolstad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 44th minute, Tärnebolstad's Marko Mäntylä dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0.

Marko Mäntylä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Mäntylä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Matti Torkkeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Marko Mäntylä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matti Torkkeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Tärnebolstad's goal looked a bit too open when Urpo Salmela came free, but Sami Veikkanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Marko Mäntylä had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matti Torkkeli. Sippolanperä's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marko Mäntylä was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Asko Pihlajamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Mäntylä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Matti Torkkeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matti Torkkeli came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Tärnebolstad's Asko Pihlajamäki. But to his dismay, Asko Pihlajamäki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Marko Mäntylä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Matti Torkkeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matti Torkkeli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Asko Pihlajamäki's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Asko Pihlajamäki put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Matti Torkkeli. If Marko Mäntylä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tärnebolstad fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Tärnebolstad's Klaus Teräs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Marko Mäntylä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
