East Kontula's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Belfiore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Petteri Vuori took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jori Kokko. East Kontula's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 10 played minutes Petteri Vuori shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for East Kontula's Jori Kokko to catch but Petteri Vuori was lucky. It became 2-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Antonio Belfiore had several of the East Kontula's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Jori Kokko as he didn't even see the shot coming. Petteri Vuori kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Esko Uusipaavalniemi in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LiPaS's Edvard Strömberg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tino Lähitie during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, LiPaS's Tino Lähitie got a free kick in the 29th minute. Kalervo Rovio took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonni Karalahti. Jonni Karalahti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The East Kontula fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 44th minute Edvard Kaarniemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonni Karalahti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, LiPaS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Belfiore to maneuver through the defense. Jori Kokko didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 4-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Jonni Karalahti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Kaarniemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. East Kontula:s Jori Kokko showed great skill when he stopped Antonio Belfiore:s penalty. After some careless play in the East Kontula defense, Antonio Belfiore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jori Kokko. The East Kontula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jori Kokko should have stopped the shot. Jonni Karalahti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Kaarniemi in the 64th minute of play. After 65 minutes, Keimo Lönnblad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LiPaS and the East Kontula players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, LiPaS's Keimo Lönnblad got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Antonio Belfiore fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LiPaS's protests and gave Antonio Belfiore a yellow card for diving instead. Antonio Belfiore hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to LiPaS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aarto Haapamäki hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Belfiore in the 80th minute of play forced East Kontula's goalkeeper Jori Kokko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonni Karalahti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Kaarniemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Joonas Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvard Kaarniemi's late challenge caught a LiPaS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvard Kaarniemi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to East Kontula getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Edvard Kaarniemi hit a great ball. Jonni Karalahti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ossi Blom in the 97th minute of the match. Miko Haapamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LiPaS had played much better football throughout.
