When Usko Raita fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saarimäki FC's protests and gave Usko Raita a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Saarimäki FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Usko Raita hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Onni Rantala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saarimäki FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Onni Rantala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jere Luoma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Teijo Viinanen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saarimäki FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Teijo Viinanen might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jere Luoma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teijo Viinanen ran back to his position shaking his head. Onni Rantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jere Luoma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saarimäki FC's Onni Rantala got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Saarimäki FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Saarimäki FC's Onni Rantala looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jere Luoma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teijo Viinanen in the 36th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Sauli Forss successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute, Isto Ylönen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Teijo Viinanen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jere Luoma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Onni Rantala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saarimäki FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Onni Rantala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jere Luoma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tero Brinck made the kick off in the second half. Sauli Forss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asko Murto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Onni Rantala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Jere Luoma managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Saarimäki FC's Onni Rantala fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th match minute, Los Vikingos dicen Adios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isto Ylönen to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match Seppo Wallenius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jere Luoma skillfully saved the ball. Onni Rantala struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jere Luoma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saarimäki FC. Saarimäki FC's Teijo Viinanen got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Teijo Viinanen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jere Luoma. That made the score 0-5 in the 67 minute of play. When Saarimäki FC's Onni Rantala in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Vikingos dicen Adios's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute Saarimäki FC were awarded a corner. Seppo Wallenius went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Benjamin Salonen got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-6. 73 minutes into the match. Saarimäki FC's Onni Rantala got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tero Brinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teijo Viinanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jere Luoma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asko Murto in the 98th minute of play forced Saarimäki FC's goalkeeper Sauli Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Saarimäki FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Vikingos dicen Adios.
