With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Sihvonen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute East Kontula were awarded a corner. Juha Roiha went to the cornerflag to take it. 28 minutes into the match, East Kontula's Tapio Sjögren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Sihvonen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Ambro Räsänen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tapio Sjögren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henry Sihvonen came out and tried to block the shot, but Tapio Sjögren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded East Kontula left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Torajärvi IFK.
