If Tony Hiedanpää had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The LiPaS fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when LiPaS's Antonio Belfiore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to FC Jaguar getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lasse Salminen hit a great ball. When LiPaS's Antonio Belfiore in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Jaguar's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute of the match LiPaS got a corner. FC Jaguar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petteri Vuori ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on LiPaS's corner Topias Myötänen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sakari Kaarniemi quite easily take care of the ball. After 18 minutes, Antonio Belfiore made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Jaguar's Sakari Kaarniemi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Miko Haapamäki struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Sakari Kaarniemi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LiPaS. Jonni Karalahti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tero Karvonen in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of FC Jaguar booed when LiPaS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Strömberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, FC Jaguar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaarlo Myllylä to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Belfiore got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 3-0 in the right cross in the 29th match minute before Sakari Kaarniemi had time to react. In the 33rd minute of the match, Keimo Lönnblad got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sakari Kaarniemi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Edvard Strömberg took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Sakari Kaarniemi to make any attempt to save it. Sakari Kaarniemi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Belfiore's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Sakari Kaarniemi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Belfiore in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Keimo Lönnblad made a precise shot to the right of Sakari Kaarniemi. FC Jaguar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 44thth minute of the game Antonio Belfiore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Jaguar's Sakari Kaarniemi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonni Karalahti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sándor Dénes in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tero Karvonen made a kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Jaguar got a freekick which was hit by 范德坤. Miko Haapamäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sakari Kaarniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakari Kaarniemi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Belfiore went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. If Miko Haapamäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sakari Kaarniemi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Belfiore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Keimo Lönnblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes, Verneri Oravainen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Jaguar and the LiPaS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antonio Belfiore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sakari Kaarniemi having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Keimo Lönnblad managed to get in a good position for a shot. LiPaS's supporters rose to their feet, but Keimo Lönnblad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sakari Kaarniemi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sakari Kaarniemi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Belfiore in the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Belfiore in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sakari Kaarniemi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miko Haapamäki in the 88th minute of play forced FC Jaguar's goalkeeper Sakari Kaarniemi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakari Kaarniemi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Belfiore in the 90th minute of play. Antonio Belfiore might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sakari Kaarniemi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonio Belfiore ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Hiedanpää in the 94th minute of play forced LiPaS's goalkeeper Jonni Karalahti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Belfiore in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sakari Kaarniemi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the LiPaS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
