In the 16th minute, Onni Rantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Juujärvi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Saarimäki FC's Sauli Forss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eemeli Hiedanpää in the 56th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Ajax Ajax's Eemeli Hiedanpää sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sauli Forss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sauli Forss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajax Ajax. Sauli Forss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Kiprusoff's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Kaleva Heinola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teijo Viinanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
