Spectators: 8475 (Terracing: 6357, Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Asmo Siren started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Miro Puumala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the game, Petteri Vuori recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kalervo Häppölä. Petteri Vuori showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. LiPaS's Miko Haapamäki got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Miko Haapamäki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Naarksd's goalkeeper Kalervo Häppölä had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Belfiore. Antonio Belfiore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalervo Häppölä read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Naarksd's Keijo Nieminen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonni Karalahti was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute Keijo Nieminen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonni Karalahti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Naarksd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aki Tukio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Belfiore in the 36th minute of play forced Naarksd's goalkeeper Kalervo Häppölä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naarksd's Kalervo Häppölä played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tino Lähitie in the 37th minute of play. Kalervo Häppölä was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonio Belfiore showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. Kalervo Häppölä took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petteri Vuori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Naarksd's Atro Forss got a free kick in the 45th minute. Kalervo Häppölä came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by LiPaS's Antonio Belfiore. But to his dismay, Antonio Belfiore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Belfiore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. LiPaS's Jonni Karalahti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teemu Uotila in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of LiPaS booed when Naarksd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miro Puumala didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, LiPaS's Jonni Karalahti got control of the ball when Asmo Siren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Markus Vapamaa's late challenge caught a LiPaS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Vapamaa helped the player get up and apologised. 76 minutes into the match, Naarksd's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Belfiore came free, but Kalervo Häppölä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kalervo Häppölä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Belfiore in the 80th minute of play. If Petteri Vuori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iiro Luotonen hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Antonio Belfiore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Naarksd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petteri Nikko to maneuver through the defense.
